Description

A group of tinplate workers. The ladies are holding the "tin slashers" knife, a long blade used to force apart plates of tin that have become stuck during the rolling process. Pictured centre left in the striped tunic is Elizabeth Rees (nee Williams) the Great Grandmother of the contributor.
