Description
Costume: tall hat, cap, gown, skirt, petticoat, chemise, drawers, stockings and shoes. Carrying a baby in a red shawl.
Body: Composition doll with sleeping eyes
Hat: silk plush with wool crêpe under the brim
Cap: lace
Height: 40cm
General observations: This has a good Cardiganshire / Carmarthenshire type of gown in fabric very similar to that used for adult costume.
Date: mid 19th century?
