Description
Costume: Set of clothing including hat, apron, skirt, chemise, bedgown, shawl, neckerchief, shoes, stockings.
Body: None.
Hat: silk plush
General observations: The bedgown is a very simple rectangular construction, gathered at the neck and with triangular gores sewn into the armpits.
Provenance and history: Given to the donor’s mother when a child by a Welsh woman.
Date: mid to late 19th century ?
