Costume: hat, apron/shift and chemise. Body: Bisque-headed doll, made by Armand Marseille of Germany, marked: 390/ A. 5/0 M. Hat: made of card, painted black Cap: Height : without hat 36cm General observations: The red cheesecloth housecoat or shift is covered by a multi-coloured apron. The chemise is a piece of fabric, not a finished garment. Date: about 1900.
