Description
Mk1 Sunderland Flying Boat serial No L2163. During her service she was assigned to: 210, 240, RAAF10 and 228 sqdns. Pictured on patrol, Atlantic Ocean 1939 - 1942, escorting Canadian Troop Convoy 6 (TC.6), inbound for Greenock. L2163 sank at Stranraer, January 15, 1942. Damaged beyond repair, no casualties.
