Description
A photograph of Ernest Boon of Newport Borough Police. He joined that force as a Constable on 18th November 1915, and went on to attain the rank of Deputy Chief Constable. The photograph was taken probably in the 1950's.
Item already added shows a 1915 half crown that he had made for his mother to commemorate his attestation into the police. See item:-
