Shunting gang with their loco'. Cardiff Docks 1946.
Gangs consisted of: Locomotive Driver, Fireman, No.1. Shunter and No.2. Shunter.
The loco' is a 0-6-0 saddle tank, built by the Hunslet Engine Co. It could pull trains of over 1000 tons on the level. A fleet of these operated across Cardiff Docks.
