Description
Local youth having fun on a carnival float. Many of these youngsters would have attended clubs at Community House. The point of the photo, though, is to show what the upstairs of the community centre looked like.
Currently we have the annual Maindee Festival in lieu of a carnival. This is the most wonderful multicultural event, with a procession, music, drama etc.
