The article reads:

CO-ORDINATING EFFORTS.
CARDIFF LADIES AND RELIEF

A representative gathering of ladies assembled at the Council-chamber, City-hall, Cardiff on Thursday, at the invitation of the Lady Mayoress (Mrs. Dr James Robinson), to discuss what is being done in the city by various charitable organisations in connection with the war. A general discussion took place, and details were given as to the making of garments, sewing, and other forms of work done on organised lines. A useful purpose served was the knowledge gained as to what was actually being accomplished so that there might be a co-ordination of the various activities, and thus prevent over-lapping.
