At the bottom of the first column of page 2 of this issue is a notice advertising that Lettice Jowitt will speak at the Friends’ Meeting House (43, Charles Street, Cardiff) about her personal experience of relief work in Europe. Lettice Jowitt was a Society of Friends relief worker who worked during the war years in the Lebanon, South Africa, and East Africa. She gave addresses to a number of Friends’ Meeting Houses around the country.
