An article, with photograph, of a street party in Augusta Street, Adamsdown, Cardiff, after raising £2,000 towards Cardiff Royal Infirmary's scanner appeal.

Folks who deserve a meal out

They deserve it! The residents of Augusta Street, Adamsdown, Cardiff, thought they'd throw a street party for a rather special occasion…they had raised no less than £2,000 towards Cardiff Royal Infirmary's scanner appeal. And speaking of scanners, if you have a very careful ‘scan’ of the picture you might just spot the august figure of a former Lord Mayor of Cardiff, happily celebrating with his hometown folk of Adamstown.
