A front page of a programme announcing the 'Outward Bound' play, written by Sutton Vane and performed by the 'A' Division Drama Company on 29-30 April and 1 May [1943].

This drama company was part of the National Fire Service, which formed during the Second World War and received some benevolent funding from the National Fire Service Welfare. The programme is from a scrapbook of items relating to amateur dramatic productions, compiled by Clifford James.
