Title & '5 gns' verso, in pencil in hand of K.W. (paper has been torn on left hand side, through the last letter 'o'). See Williams, A Wider Sky, 1991, (pp 42-58) re two visits to Italy, (1950 and 1960) he visited Borgo Sansepolchro in 1960 (p 57). This probably belongs to his second visit. (Examples of his first visit, are K.W. works on paper, 793, 795 and 843.) Verso, notes on framing and mounting by unidentified hand. Skinning left edge, tape attached verso other edges, removed and repaired Feb. 2010.
