Apprenticeship Indenture of Daniel Owen, 1851. Daniel Owen was apprenticed to a local tailor, Angel Jones, for a period of five years. In the first year, Daniel Owen received his tea and a penny every Saturday; in the second year he received a weekly wage of 2 shillings; 3 shillings a week in his third year; four shillings a week in his fourth year and 5 shillings a week in his fifth and final year.
