Response letter thanking for setting up a correspondence between pupils of Wales and Estonia from Narva, Estonia, April 15th 1928

Description

A response letter thanking for setting up a correspondence between pupils April 15th 1928, Narva, Estonia. The letter reads: My dear friend, I was very glad, when I received your letter on January 11. By your kind intervention and the article in the very interesting March number of the "Welsh Outlook" from the Rev. Gwilym Davies, I had the great satisfaction to recieve a letter from the Senior Mistress of the Secondary School, Pentre in Rhonda. Mistress Phillips wrote me that 20 girls and 10 boys would like to correspond with pupils of the Narca Commercial School. My girls and boys are delighted. They have sent letters and received very interesting answers and descriptions of Cardiff, Pentre, coalminings, and notes about the Prince of Wales, the Welsh language, Ysgol Gan, Gorsedd y Beird, Yr Eisteddfodd Genhedloethal, the schools in England, customs, a.s.on. All is so very interesting and the letters are better means to teach than dry geographical books. The pupils exchange views, pictures, articles and stamps. I thank you much for your having set up the correspondence. Be so kind and give my best greetings to the Rev. Gwilym Davies M.A. With my very kind regards Yours most sencerely and thankfully Charles Wilhelmson
