A handwritten response letter to the Goodwill Message of the children of Wales from Scotland. The letter reads; Goodwill Day, 18th May, 1938. We, the boys and girls of bairnorrie school, thank you, the boys and girls of Wales for the greeting you have sent us on Goodwill Day. We are glad to know that hundreds of schools have received a message similar to ours. We hpe that strife will stop and peace will reign instead. May we on this goodwill day begin afresh to help our friends, and continue to do so. We shall try to be friends of all, and enemise of none.
