Description

This article in the German-American newspaper New Yorker Staats-Zeitung describes the sinking of the steamships FALABA and AGUILA.

The FALABA was on her way from Liverpool to Sierra Leone when she was sunk by U 28 under the command of KapLt Georg-Günther von Forstner on 28 March 1915. Her wreck lies some 38 miles to the west of the Smalls, Pembrokeshire.
