I am a Port Talbot born poet, prose-writer, researcher and editor, the author of 'Real Port Talbot' (Seren Books 2013) and co-author of 'Remembering Morfa: Coal, Catastrophe & Courage' (Mynydd & Môr 2020), the almost forgotten story of Morfa Colliery, on Margam moors, operational between 1849 and 1913. Mynydd & Môr, a not for profit publishing venture, was set up to ensure that the history of ordinary people in the Port Talbot area will be preserved for future generations.
