The Snowdonian House

The Snowdonian house is probably the earliest type of storeyed (with an upper floor) house in Wales, it is regionally distinctive and concentrated in the historic counties of Meirionydd and Caernarfonshire from the mid 1500’s replacing the medieval hall-house.
