Description

Gustav Pritshow’s medals for his service in the First World War.

Gustav was born near Magdeburg, Prussian Saxony, in 1860. During the First World War he was a seaman in the British Merchant Navy. After the war, Gustav received two Mercantile Marine Medals in recognition of his service. In the 1920s he worked on the PAYS DE WAES and the KHARTOUM.

This item was brought to the attention of the U-Boat Project 1914-18 by Gwerfyl T. Gregory who kindly allowed us to share it.
