The Aberpergwm estate was owned by the Willams family and lies about 1/2 a mile from the town of Glynneath in the Neath Valley. The Willaims took over ownership of the house in around 1560 and lived there until around the 1900`s. In 1940 the house became a school for the East Anglian deaf and blind school who were evacuated there during th second worl war, After the war the house was taken over as offices by the NCB. Unfortunately the house then fell ino dissrepair, was demolished and no loger exisits.
