Description

Welshman Dan Jones converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints while working as a steamboat captain on the Mississippi river. He returned twice to Wales as a missionary for that church, and each time returned with a large group of Welsh converts. His missionary success is attributed not only to his energy and determination, but also to his extensive writing about the church in Welsh. This book chronicles his life and missionary endeavours.
