Description

A telegram to Mr. Matthew Harvey from the Accountant-General of the Navy, detailing the Naval War Gratuity to be given to the estate of the late Philip Henry Harvey, Stoker - 1st Class. Further research: Philip Henry Harvey was the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Harvey of Cadoxton, Barry. He was a Stoker in the Royal Navy on two vessels from 1912 to 1918 - HMS New Zealand and HMS Vivid. He died of pleurisy in Hull on 8th February 1919 and is buried in Merthyr Dyfan Cemetery in Barry.
