This photo from the mid 1960s, shows a modernised Ferry House (on the right) when it was owned by the Sykes family. The house had been extensively altered since the days of the Laugharne ferry.
On the left is The Boat House, former home of Dylan Thomas, the lease of which was still owned by the Thomas family in the 1960s.
