This is a photograph of the Royal Navy boys training school at HMS Ganges and in particular of the room where Radio Operators and Telegraphists were trained. Royal Navy Radio Operator Edward Pope joined HMS Ganges as a 15 year old boy on 1958 and learned the basics of his trade ain this room. His story can be read on line in the Edward Pope collection at the West Wales Veterans archive. The photograph is on the front cover of a postcard published by HMS Ganges in the 1950s/60s by FISK.
