This is a collection of photographs and records that pertain to the career in the Royal Navy of Pembrokeshire Veteran Edward Pope. Edward is the son of Great war and World War Two Royal Navy Veteran Charles Pope and his own collection can be viewed on line at the West Wales Veterans Archive. Edward was schooled in a maritime education setting from the age of eleven years and enlisted into the Royal Navy proper in 1958 as a boy sailor. He went on to serve for 12 years, experiencing shore postings in the far east and taking part in Exercise Coral Sands from Australia in 1968 on the guided missile destroyer HMS Glamorgan.
