Description

This steel skillet (used for making Welshcakes!) was made out of part of the warship HMS Chester - probably from the boiler-plate. It was made by Oliver Hughes of Llanelli, who had served in the Royal Navy in the First World War, and who was working in the yard where HMS Chester was being scrapped.
