Hughes Shop

Description

This shop was originally a Toll House for the drovers coming over the Black Mountain. It is reputed to be the oldest shop building still standing in Brynaman. The photograph depicts a General Store selling china and kitchenware. During the 1950s and 1960s it became Mr Williams the Chemist's Shop. In the last decade it housed Wild and Woolly Craft Shop.
