Fifth Avenue Congregational Church thriving under the Rev. J. Pwyson Jones; choir directed by Prof. Geo. Jones. Another excellent choir in South Side is conducted by Samuel Rees. Mrs. Hughes, mother-in-law of D. J. Evans, Woodlawn Ave is ill. Mrs. Rees falls down stairs. Girl baby of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Jenkins, Wood's Run died of Diptheria. Mr. H. M. Evans, the young preacher who recently came from the Old Country is serving the Congregational Church in Wilkesbarre on the first Sunday of December. Presbyterian Chapel at North St., South Side reopens.
