Description

A notice advertising the 54th annual meeting of the Cardiff Naturalists' Society in 1921. The meeting included a public lecture on photography by Gilbert D. Shepherd, FCA.

The Cardiff Naturalists' Society was established in 1867 and helps to promote public engagement with the sciences. The group put on public lectures, events, and day trips, usually in order to raise funds. They are known for having helped to raise a significant amount of funding for the building of the Welsh National Museum. The group is still active today and is largely run by volunteer work.
