Description

A draft proposal for an arts strategy for City of Cardiff. The proposal contains information about how to direct funding towards certain endeavours for the city and to promote more community engagement and awareness of arts and cultural activities in Cardiff. Many organisations and volunteer groups were asked to contribute to ideas and help in the writing of the proposal, including Grangetown Community Concern.

Grangetown Community Concern is a volunteer organisation located in Cardiff, which helps to raise funds, publishes a community newspaper, runs toy drives, puts on public events, and sponsors a 'meals-on-legs' programme in the area. The organisation was established in 1977 and is a registered charity. It was renamed Grangetown Community Action in 2016. They have been located at the Grangetown Library since 2006 and are active in the community today.
