Description

The Cardiff Municipal Musical Society provided musical theatre programmes for children, older people and those with disabilities. The society existed from 1943 to 1993. They were charged with preparing and putting on performances for the public and providing opportunities for those who love drama. The Executive Committee were the minds behind this society and this item shows the minutes of an Executive Committee meeting.

In this entry, page 220, it was suggested that the Drama Section be reinstated into the Society, if there was sufficient amount of people interested in this happening.

"Drama Section: A suggestion was made that the Drama Section be revived. It was agreed that Section Secretaries should attain the names of members interested. If there were sufficient of these, the Hon. Gen. Sec. would call a meeting with a view to getting a Drama Section reformed."
