Description
A response letter from the German Youth Red Cross, Berlin, March 12 1937
A response letter written in German. Translation;
‘Dear Mr. Vice President!
As head of the German Youth Red Cross work, I received your letter of approval for the Day of Good Will on 18 May 1937 with your charming letter D.19. I would like to express my most binding thanks for that; I noted with great interest the news of the implementation of the previous year's Proclamation.
After the journal of the German Youth Red Cross, which took over the embassy in the early years, no longer appears, it is only possible for us to enter into this peace cemetery of the children of all countries within the change of school letters to pursue joy. The interantional school letter change of the Red Cross offers many an opportunity to work in the same way as the message of the children of Wales, so that they too often find an echo among themselves in this exchange of children.
With the assurance of my greatest esteem I am
Yours faithfully,
