Welsh Costume: Fancy costumes

These representations of mostly very narrow-waisted young woman in fashionable, rather than practical clothes might have been published in books of fashion plates or comparative folk/national costumes. The first might be an illustration for a novel or short story; the second was produced for stage costume designers; the third was a fashion plate for a fancy ball costume; the 4th and 5th have no publication details and the 6th appears to be from a study of heads.
