This is a photograph of Mr Roy 'Denzil' Davies of Golden Valley, who is pictured here on the extreme right in Zoo Gardens, Limassol, Cyprus with friends from his regiment in March 1957. Denzil was called up to undertake National Service in 1956. He served a two-year engagement, the majority of which was undertaken on the island of Cyprus.
