PITISBURGII PA., AND ENVIRONS. March 18.- Messiah perforrrance at Carnegie Music Hall with soloists Evan Williams and Gwilyn Miles. March 17, John Powell is in better health. The world-famous singer (Patti of Wales), namely Miss Maggie Davies. Her sister is Mrs. Rachel Davies of Lincoln St. McKeesport. Jonah Mathias and his wife from Carnarvonshire. Daniel Jones, elocutionist. Miss M. A. Evertt in McKeesport is an artists' agent. William Morgan's neice, Mrs. Davies of Soles St. Mr. and Mrs. Redfern and J. D. Evans, the tailor are all enjoying good health. Welsh spirit needs reviving in Braddocks and McKeesport. There are enough Welsh there but they go to English chapels and are growing cold to the old language. In Braddock I saw, amongst others, Mr. and Mrs. D. K.
