Fatal Accident in Pittsburgh, Pa. On Saturday, Dec. 13, 1913 Miss Ruth Catherine John has died. She was the eldest daughter of the Rev. W. T. John, formerly ofNewcastle but now minister of the English Baptist Church on Cobden St., Pittsburgh, Pa. Ruth Catherine was working on the second floor of the house and standing on the porch when her brother, Trefor, had his hat taken by brother William (5 years old). The hat was thrown over the railing and Ruth looked over to see where it had gone and the railing gave way and she fell thirty feet. She was unconscious for about twenty minutes and her spirit had flown away before the doctor arrived. The parents wene away in another part of the crty at the time. It had only been a forEright since the family had moved to Pittsburgh. . , . She was born on August 21 , 1 890 in Swansea where her father was minster of the English Baptist church in Carmarthen Road. They came to the United States on October 21, 1901. After spending two years in Wilkes Barre, tho family moved to Newcastle in October 1902. *R. E. W.
