Wil Ifan as Archdruid of Wales
Description
This was taken at the National Eisteddfod in Bridgend, Glam (Penybont-ar-Ogwr) in the summer of 1948.
Wil Ifan is in the centre. On the left of the picture is Crwys (William Williams), his predecessor as Archdruid; and in between them is Cynan (Rev. Albert Cynan Evans-Jones), who would succeed Wil Ifan as Archdruid. The bard on the right is Trefin (Rev. Edgar Phillips) who became Archdruid in 1960.
