ON WAY TO SWANSEA.
U-Boat Lost off Berry Head.
The tug Knight Templar arrived at Brixham on Thursday, and reported the loss of the German Submarine U 60 whilst being towed from Chatham to Swansea. The submarine foundered unexpectedly, going down stern first, nine miles south-east of Berry Head. No lives were lost.
