The Story of the SAINT JACQUES

The SAINT JACQUES was a French steamship. Travelling from Barry to Bizerta, she struck a mine 5 miles SW off St Ann's Head and sank on 15 September 1917. The mine had been laid by UC 51 commanded by KapLt Hans Galster. There were no casualties.
