Description

An extract from Morris, L., 1748. Plans of Harbours, Bars, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel. The extract (page 48) notes that Cardigan is known for its salmon fishery.

The extract reads as follows: “THIS Place is noted for the Salmon-fishery; and up this River the King’s Wear of Kilgerran (c. br. Cil Geraint) lies.”
