An extract from Morris, L., 1748. Plans of Harbours, Bars, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel. The extract (page 40) describes the Pearl fishery of Conwy.
The extract reads as follows: “The Place was famous some Time ago for Pearl-fishing; but now is much neglected, as it is upon all this Coast, where the Pearl Muscle is found in great Plenty”
