Description

An extract from Morris, L., 1748. Plans of Harbours, Bars, Bays and Roads in St. George's Channel. The extract (page 45) describes the use of a pier at Nevyn (Nefyn) for the Herring fishery.

The extract reads as follows: ”The Pier at Nevyn is very useful for the Herring-fishery, which was raised by Contribution, but chiefly by the Generosity.”
